In an alternate future, Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, has become a dystopian landscape following a series of global crises. Faced with overpopulation, resource scarcity, and a breakdown of societal order, the government takes a drastic step to maintain control. They decide to transform Zagreb into a closed prison, isolated from the outside world and left to fend for itself.

The once vibrant city now stands as a colossal prison, surrounded by impenetrable barriers. The government brands it as a social experiment, but in reality, it serves as a televised spectacle for the rest of the world. The entire city becomes the stage for a reality TV series called "Zagreb Lockdown," where the prisoners must navigate the harsh realities of their new existence.

The series follows a diverse group of prisoners, each with their own skills, backgrounds, and motives for survival. The city is divided into different zones, each with its own set of challenges and dangers. From lawless territories reminiscent of Mad Max to desperate urban zones, the prisoners must navigate treacherous landscapes, face off against rival factions, and confront the authoritarian guards who oversee the chaos.
